Having recently Polybushed my 110, I can tell you that there are a number of different compounds available - some softer, some harder and one exactly the same as stock.  

The additional benefit that Polybushes have is that they require no specialist tools to change in the unlikely event that the do fail.

The standard &quot;metallastic&quot; bush has an outer metal cylinder which must be pressed into the casting using a hydraulic press or a set of bearing pullers (if you are lucky), an inner metal cylinder through which the bolt passes and a rubber &quot;doughnut&quot; in between and bonded to the inner and outer cylinders.

The Polybush (other brands are available) uses a free-running inner metal tube, a pair of top-hat shaped doughnuts, one pushed in from each side, and a washer at each end that keeps it all in place.  

To remove the genuine bushes takes drills, hacksaw blades, WD40, lots of swearing and gallons of tea.  To remove the Polybushes (or similar) takes minutes few, no blood, sweat or yorkshire tea and can be done (generally) using your bare hands.

A no-brainer in my book...</description>

Similarly specialist disc handbrakes give you the headache of sourcing non standard spares.
