Hi
I dont know if i am talking out of turn here or it has allready been dicused. I have had a 90 300tdi for 2 years now and im planning a long trip. so yes me 2 been upgrading and something i do feel is a must is a gearbox oil cooler. i have learnt that defenders made for going across the water to hoter climats
have them allredy as speck but uk dont. the gearbox temp increses significantly when towing or carrying full loads and i have read some horror storys of gearbox sezing you can buy them off the shelf to bolt on from ashcroft transmissions good outfit or any good srcap yard i got mine from the lads at A1 landrover in Bury them to good lads and good outfit.sorry for spel mistakes but rushing. anyway some thing to bear in mind

Hi All. Thought you might be interested in this webpage, I purchased an RT02 roof tent + A1 awning from these guys and used it abroad for over 4 months in one trip. I cannot fault the price (under £1000) or the quality, later learned that they are made in the same factory as the ARB Simpson 3 tent but £2000 cheaper!!!!!
They also did some work on my 110 200TDI before I went-bloody good chaps and they are all mad keen. Gonna be buying one of thier 30 second tents this year and hopefully tag along on there trip to Morroco in 2011 as they have a little club of frinds and families in Cornwall!
www.rooftentslimited.co.uk 01736 740599 and ask to speak to Alec! Check out his winch as well, the Warn powerplant with on board compressor...I WANT ONE lol
