Please read these terms and conditons carefully. If you contribute or advertise, you are held under the respective agreements. It looks like a load of jargon but it’s important to know where we all stand!

• Any person or company contributing content for inclusion in the site is hereby referred to as the ‘contributor’.
• Any person or company advertising on landroverexpedition.com is hereby referred to as the ‘advertiser’.
• Any document,  image or other resource sent to landroverexpedition.com for inclusion is hereby referred to as the ’submitted content’.
• Submitted content under one title is hereby referred to as the ‘article’.
• Any person or persons who hold registration rights or accounts to landroverexpedition.com and its running are hereby referred to as the ‘administrators’.
• Any part of landroverexpedition.com offered to advertisers for their discretion of content is hereby referred to as ‘advertising space’.
• The exchange of money as part of the advertising agreement is hereby known as the ‘advertising fee’

Contributing agreement

• The contributor must hold copyright status for any submitted content (no Google images, other people’s work, etc.)
• The contributor will retain this copyright status on their submitted content whilst published on landroverexpedition.com
• If an article is published on landroverexpedition.com, the contributor is eligible to be regarded as an ‘advertiser’,  free of charge, for (1) calendar month from the publishing date, subject to the advertising agreement
• The contributor has the right to not enter into an advertising agreement
• One article accrues one month on the advertising agreement (below)
• If advertiser status is removed from a contributor, their submitted content will remain on landroverexpedition.com
• If the exact (See footnote 1) submitted content is also located at another URL location, the administrators reserve the right to paraphrase the submitted content in the interests of publishing unique content
• Submitted content is preferable a Word document text format and images saved as JPEG and attached to an email sent to info@landroverexpedition.com
• The administrators  retain editorial control and have the right to refuse any content that is not applicable or relevant
• The administrators may change or remove any submitted content on landroverexpedition.com at any time without prior notice
• The contributors and administrators are not responsible for any adverse or  ill effects resulting from advice, techniques or content read by visitors to this site
• Landroverexpedition.com is not responsible for any issues, whether legal or personal, relating to any contributor’s submitted content
• Any submitted content, including opinions or advice, are not associated with landroverexpedition.com, other than by providing a forum for the publishing of the submitted content

Advertising agreement

• The advertiser enters into an agreement with the administrators to have advertising space on landroverexpedition.com in exchange for the advertising fee for a specified period not less than one calendar month upon receipt of the advertising fee.
• The advertising space granted to the advertiser is limited to a 135 x 135 pixel image linking to a URL location of the advertiser’s choice
• Advertising space is not regarded as submitted content
• This agreement is limited to one piece of advertising space, unless the advertiser enters into a new advertising agreement
• A link to the advertiser’s URL location will also be added to the Sponsors page (http://www.landroverexpedition.com/sponsors/)
• The advertiser may specify their anchor attribute ‘title’ text, otherwise it will be null
• The advertiser may alter their image and/or URL location at any time by emailing info@landroverexpedition.com
• Advertising space can be bought on a monthly basis, starting on the first day of the month of application
• The advertising fee is £20 GBP for one (1) month or £50 for three (3) months
• Advertising space is randomly allocated from a database of all advertisers, on each page load
• The administrators are not obliged to keep the website running on a 24hour 7 day basis
• If the site is down for an unacceptable period, compensation is redeemable from the advertising fee for that month at a rate of 1% per day offline
• The advertiser’s advertising space will be removed following expiry of the advertising agreement. The advertiser will retain the status of contibutor if any of their submitted content is on the site

Other terms

• Any content that is no regarded as submitted content, is the copyright of the administrators
• Any content may not be used for commercial purposes.
• Any reproduced content must retain any copyrights or other intellectual property notices contained in the original material.
• Any images on this website are protected by copyright and may not be reproduced or appropriated in any manner without the written permission of their respective owner(s).
• The site is not responsible for the content of external sites and a link does not constitute an endorsement of any external sites

Privacy Policy

• Information is collected automatically about your visit to our site based on your IP address, and browser configuration.
• The site uses cookies to remember your preferences during your current visit, and any future visits provided the cookie was not deleted in the interim.
